CMES Now Providing Industry Training

Beginning May 1, 2007, Calhoon MEBA Engineering School (CMES) will provide educational and training services as well as certificate programs to maritime professionals and technical industries. CMES has worked to develop courses that satisfy emerging technologies and regulatory training requirements that meet the ever-changing needs of today’s professionals. Since its inception in 1966, the CMES has provided training solely to the members and contracted company employees of the Marine Engineers’ Beneficial Association (MEBA). College credit for specific course completion may be awarded through the American Council on Education.
