GTT receives order from Hyundai Heavy Industries for a FSRU addressed to Höegh LNG

GTT, a designer of membrane containment systems for the maritime transportation and storage of liquefied natural gas (LNG), has announced a new order for a Floating Storage & Regasification Unit (FSRU) from the Korean shipbuilder Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI).
This new FSRU, addressed to Höegh LNG, will be equipped with Mark III technology and is expected to be delivered in 2018.
According to GTT, its technologies’ competitive advantages including CAPEX/OPEX and optimization of LNG storage capacity have allowed the company to gain a strong position in offshore segment. All of the FSRUs ordered in the world since 2011 are or will be equipped with GTT technologies, the company said. As of today, GTT's order book includes eight FSRUs.
