Okeanus to Represent MacArtney Group in Brazil
Underwater technology provider MacArtney Group has signed an agreement with Okeanus Ltda. to be the group's official representative in the Brazilian market, MacArtney Group announced today.
This is the third such deal MacArtney Group has signed in the South American in the last six months, following agreements with Cledirsa in Uruguay and Alakaluf in Chile.
Founded by marine scientist Laura Azevedo and her father in 2007, Okeanus is a technical consulting company offering products, services and sales representation in the field of oceanography, hydrology, meteorology and environmental monitoring. The Okeanus HQ is located on the Copacabana in Rio de Janeiro.
Okeanus will gain access to the entire portfolio of MacArtney products and systems, from subsea connectors and cables, through underwater telemetry and cameras to marine winch and handling systems.
Okeanus holds a status as ‘registered supplier’ with Petronect (Petrobras pre-approved supplier). MacArtney is keen to promote its diverse range of high quality offerings to the high-potential Brazilian oil and gas market, the company said.
