CMA CGM Alters Sailings for Chinese New Year

The CMA CGM Group said it has decided to anticipate the reduced production during the Lunar New Year period in China starting on February 4, 2014, and to adjust its offer to meet reduced demand on its services out of China.

To continue providing service and to maintain coverage of the range during this period, however, CMA CGM will implement additional calls:

On the Far East to North Europe trade, 5 sailings will be canceled on FAL lines :

Week 06
•    Cancel 1 sailing on FAL1 on board CMA CGM Christophe Colomb in Ningbo on February 5
Cargo will be charged on FAL 3 aboard CMA CGM Aquila with additional calls in Chiwan and Tangier

•    Cancel 1 sailing on FAL7 on board MSC VEGA in Ningbo on February 4
Cargo will be charged on FAL6 on board MSC Vandya with calls in Sines and Le Havre

Week 07
•    Cancel 1 sailing on FAL2 on board MERCURY in Ningbo on February 12            
Cargo will be charged on FAL1 on board CC Christophe Colomb and on FAL6 on board MSC Vandya

•    Cancel 1 sailing on FAL7 in Ningbo on February 11th                                             
Cargo will be charged on FAL6 on board MSC Sonia with calls in Sines and Le Havre and on FAL1 on board CMA CGM Christophe Colomb with a call in Singapore

Week 08
•    Cancel 1 sailing on FAL3 on board CMA CGM PEGASUS in Xingang on February 13 and in Shanghai on February 22
CMA CGM PEGASUS will sail to North China and Korea with calls in Xingang, Dalian, Pusan and Qingdao with transshipment of exports on FAL1 on board CMA CGM Laperouse in Xiamen.


Furthermore, on the Asia to Mediterranean Trade, 2 sailings will be canceled on MEX lines :

Week 07
•    Cancel 1 sailing on MEX3 on board Don Pascuale in Xiamen on February 10
Cargo will be charged on MEX1 with additional calls in Genoa.

Week 09
•    Cancel 1 sailing on MEX3 on board CMA CGM Titus in XIAMEN on February 24
Cargo will be charged on MEX1 with additional calls in Genoa. 


Finally, on the Asia to Red Sea Trade, 3 sailings will be canceled on REX lines :

Week 07
•    Cancel 1 sailing on REX2 on board Hanjin Madrid in Shanghai on February 9

Week 08
•    Cancel 1 sailing on REX3 on board Algarrobo in Port Kelang on February 20

Week 09
•    Cancel 1 sailing on REX3 on board Sils in Port Kelang on February 27.
