Santiago Shipyard Launches Vessel

According to a report from the Cuba Standard, the Damex Shipbuilding & Engineering shipyard in Santiago — one of the few fully foreign-owned operations in Cuba — finished assembling a 600-ton multi-purpose cargo vessel that will be used by the Venezuelan navy, Prensa Latina reported. The Damen Stan Lander 5612 is the first of four.
