OPUS 2002 Scheduled For December

The Barcelona Shipping Law Forum (OPUS 2002) is a one-day event, taking place on Monday, December 9, 2002, at the Eurostars Grand Marina Hotel,
Barcelona. Bringing together maritime lawyers, shipowners and insurers from around the
world, the forum will address the changing face of maritime law, particularly in the areas of ship arrest and security, alternative dispute
resolution, carriage of goods by sea, terrorism and salvage.
The forum is divided into four sessions. Each session will end with a debate with participants invited and encouraged to express their opinions and concerns to a panel of experts from across the industry.
The event, hosted by Barcelona-based lawyer, Ignacio de Ros, the forum is organized by
Mare Forum and supported by the leading maritime law publication, The Maritime Advocate, will feature high profile speakers and a social program set in one of Europe's most exciting cities.
