Living up to its heavy duty description, the wiper motor produces an impressive 15 N·m of torque when driving a wiper arm and blade. The motor provides changeable self-parking to right or left and a sweep angle of 40°-110º, adjustable in 10º increments. Wipers can be set to slow at 35 sweeps/min., or fast at 55 sweeps/min.
A high quality all-aluminum housing provides superior heat dissipation to help ensure the motor's reliability and longevity. Unlike those made of plastic, the rigid aluminum housing also protects the internal mechanisms and motor gears, particularly when the unit is mounted to a curved surface.
Waterproof to IP 66 ratings and CE certified for safety, the motor offers insulated grounding that makes it suitable for use on steel, aluminum, wooden or fiberglass boats. It's also EMC-protected to prevent interference with nearby electronics.
The Heavy Duty Waterproof Wiper Motor is available in 12 and 24V versions, with stainless and nickel-plated brass drive shafts in lengths of 1", 2" or 3". Measuring approximately 7-1/2" L x 4" W, its bolt holes match those of non-waterproof Ongaro and Bosch-type wiper motors for simple upgrades.
