A first generation Filipino, Elamparo's parents immigrated to the United States and at a young age instilled in him the importance of education and what it helps build a successful life. Now a senior marketing and information systems major at UW, Elamparo is focused on pursuing a career in management consulting.

Chrisostomo, a junior marketing and international business major, is also an exemplary student, participating in a study-abroad and exchange student program in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and internships with large, international companies, while also working at the UW Women's Center. She plans to minor in Spanish and pursue a master's degree in business administration. She is also a member of the Association of Black Business Students.
