EBDG Grows Team in Seattle

Elliott Bay Design Group (EBDG) recently welcomed two new hires and two summer interns to the Seattle office. Zach McKinney and Jeremy Rice are the latest Marine Engineers to join the firm.

McKinney, who holds a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington, Seattle, has expertise with a number of vessel types including barges, ferries, military and fishing vessels and workboats. He is also versed in detail design and specialty projects.

Rice joins EBDG with 18 years of experience in the maritime industry including onboard vessel expertise with both deck and engine room ratings while at sea. Rice's engineering and design background encompasses deck barges, OSVs, tugs, research and passenger vessels, in addition to engineering support for retail barge design and LNG concept design.

EBDG is also pleased to welcome interns Tom Cusumano and Eileen Tausch to the team. Cusumano grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and is pursuing a BS in Naval Architecture at the University of New Orleans. Tausch graduated with a BS in Naval Architecture from the University of Michigan (U-M) and minored in Electrical Engineering. In the fall, she will return to U-M to pursue a master's in Naval Architecture.
