OSM Selects Tero Marine’s TM Master

March 7, 2016

The OSM Maritime Group has chosen TM Master as the company’s preferred planned maintenance system. Tero Marine is now in the phase of implementing TM Master on 24 container vessels under the technical management of OSM.

OSM has approximately 10,000 employees and 500 vessels included in its worldwide operations. Its ship management division provides management services for a range of vessels, including offshore vessels, shuttle tankers, container vessels and VLCCs.
“We have carefully reviewed maintenance systems, with internally evaluations from a system and user perspective, and have chosen TM Master due to its superior flexibility and versatility. This partnership will be a valuable contribution to our strategy in the years to come,” said Frank Mouridsen, Head of Global Procurement in OSM.
For Tero Marine, the cooperation with OSM is a strategic partnership that gives the company tailwind toward new shipping markets, the company said.
“It is always a great success when a major shipping company choose your product, but this agreement is also important because it demonstrates our ability to meet the standards of major ship management companies. Tero Marine has been market leader in the international offshore supply market for years, but the contract with OSM is a confirmation that our software is a leading solution in other segments as well,” said Erik Staubo, VP Sales in Tero Marine.
