Elcome Enters Sales, Service Deal with JRC

Elcome International has signed a distribution agreement with Japan Radio Company (JRC) and its technology partner Alphatron Marine.
Under the agreement, the Dubai-based company will take on responsibility for sales and service of JRC and Alphatron Marine products in the Middle East, India and Sri Lanka. Elcome will also carry out annual performance tests for JRC Voyage Data Recorders and Simplified Voyage Data Recorders.

JRC is providing training for Elcome engineers at its Center of Excellence in Rotterdam, as well as at Elcome’s headquarters in Dubai.
“JRC and Alphatron Marine are highly respected brands in the marine electronics industry with a very broad range of navigation, communications, automation, IT and other electronic systems meeting the highest international standards,” said Jimmy Grewal, executive director of Elcome International. “This agreement will allow us to broaden the portfolio of state-of-the-art bridge electronics we can offer our growing customer base of vessel operators and shipyards across the region. In addition, our service partnership with JRC and Alphatron Marine will greatly strengthen Elcome’s position as the largest marine service provider in the Indian Ocean region.”
