Wärtsilä Expands Boiler Services

Wärtsilä continues to expand its boiler services with the acquisition of the boiler services business of International Combustion Engineering's (I.C.E.) former subsidiary in . The acquired boiler service business, which currently employs seven people, will be integrated into Wärtsilä in .
This transaction follows Wärtsilä's acquisition of the Denmark-based International Combustion Engineering A/S (I.C.E.) announced in April of this year and completes the acquisition.
Wärtsilä's entry into the new field of boiler services improves the company's position and competitiveness as a leading total services provider. This latest acquisition in will further expand Wärtsilä's geographical coverage in providing boiler service support to customers throughout the .
