Napa Opens Office in Shanghai

In response to the growing clientele in the region, Napa has opened a Representation Office in Shanghai, China as of December 2002. Napa offers innovative software systems for professional ship design and by providing localized user services. The newly established Representation Office in China is Napa’s second in the region. The first Napa Representation Office was opened in Kobe, Japan, in 2001. In addition, Napa is represented in Korea by the Napa Country Manager working for Marbiss, Napa’s agent in Korea. The Representation Office in Shanghai focuses on promoting the NAPA system and on providing training and technical support services locally for present and future NAPA users. The Representation Office will also coordinate and support commissioning of the Onboard-NAPA system. Dr Ni Bo has been appointed Manager of the Representation Office. Dr Ni has previously worked for CSSRC and has vast experience in the industry. The very latest Chinese clients who have chosen the NAPA system include Bohai Shipbuilding Heavy Industry and Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group).
