Titan Awarded Major NAVSEA Shipbuilding Office Contract

The Titan Corporation has been awarded an indefinite delivery/ indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) Multiple Award Contract for engineering and technical services to the U.S. Navy's NAVSEA Shipbuilding Office (NAVSHIPSO). As a multiple award five-year contract (one base year and four one-year options) having a potential ceiling value for Titan in excess of $1.05 billion, Titan will compete against seven other companies for task orders to provide NAVSHIPSO habitability, propulsion, electrical, auxiliary and electronics systems engineering and technical services for ships, as well as shore stations.
"Through this engineering and technical services contract, Titan will continue to provide systems installation services for the Fleet," said Gene Ray, Titan's chairman, president and CEO. "This latest award will also afford us the opportunity to expand our business base and global efforts-at sea and ashore-with new diversified maintenance programs that are vital to the defense of our country."
Titan has been providing engineering and technical services to the NAVSEA Shipbuilding Office for over five years, since the company won its initial contract award in 1999
