ASC Shipbuilding CEO Lamarre Steps Down

 ASC Shipbuilding chief executive officer Mark Lamarre will step down after three years at the helm of the Australian naval warship builder. According to the shipyard, Lamarre has decided to return to the United States for family reasons.

ASC shipbuilding general manager Jim Cuthill will step in as acting CEO from December 15.

On November 24, ASC secured the shipbuilding role for the initial phase of the Offshore Patrol Vessel project in Adelaide in 2018-2020.
The company is pursuing additional shipbuilding projects, including the Future Frigate program from 2020.
