Boxship Body for Rensen Shipbuilding Launched

On October 26, 2006 the Astrakhan-based Lotos Shipyard incorporated into the group of companies Maritime, Oil and Gas Projects launched the hull of the river-going boxship of Marina" type.
According to the construction contract signed with the Dutch company Rensen Shipbuilding BV in early 2006, the company is to build 6 boxships' hulls.
The river-going boxship of Marina type is to be 110 meters long and 11.45 meters wide, 3.55 meters draft.
The vessel is top be deployed in the European inland waters. The hull is to be fitted out in the Netherlands.
