STX Shipbuilding wins $468m Order
STX Shipbuilding Co. said Wednesday it had secured a $468m order to build six bulk carriers from a Greek shipping company. The order calls for STX Shipbuilding to deliver the vessels to Anangel Maritime Service Inc. by June 2011, the company said in a regulatory filing.The shipbuilder, a unit of South Korea's STX Group, said it will focus on building larger ships such as oil tankers and liquefied natural gas carriers.
