MarAd Issues Advisor on Naval Control of Shipping Exercise

The US Maritime Administration (MarAd) issued an advisory notifying operators of U.S.-flag and effective U.S.-controlled vessels that a multi-national Naval Control of Shipping exercise is being conducted in the vicinity of the approaches to the Panama Canal. Commercial vessels transiting these areas during the period September 1-8 may be asked to provide some basic identifying information. Source: HK Law
