The South Korean shipbuilder did not say who the client was, apart from saying it was a European shipowner.

DSME said the contract included conditions that the shipowner must fulfill, "and if those conditions are not met, the contract can be canceled." It did not say what the conditions were.

The three LNG carriers are expected to be delivered by the end of July 2023.
