Spinnaker and Enigma Join Forces

May 1, 2002

Spinnaker Consulting has combined forces with Enigma International Resourcing, the logistics, supply-chain and liner shipping recruiter. The new venture allows the two organisations to expand and strengthen the services they offer to their clients, without comprising the existing respective set-ups. Enigma, will continue to work on UK / European business, with Director Darin Watts co-ordinating the set-up of an office in Australia that will serve the joint Spinnaker / Enigma Far Eastern and Australasian client base. Phil Parry, Managing Director of Spinnaker, says, "This is an excellent opportunity to forge an alliance with one of the few quality recruitment providers in our industry. It is a classic case of complementary strengths. Enigma's clients can now benefit from the support of a larger supplier, from Spinnaker's specialist experience in legal, technical and insurance vacancies, and from exposure on shippingjobs.com. Spinnaker's clients will benefit from Enigma's strength in the logistics, supply chain and liner markets. And, together, we now offer our clients and candidates greater on-the-ground contact with knowledgeable recruitment advisers in more locations." Darin Watts adds, "We were looking for a partner with a reputation for ethics and quality, and, frankly, one who knows what it's talking about. There are too many CV scattergunners around who pay scant attention to data protection and whose understanding of client needs leaves a lot to be desired. Spinnaker has a reputation for doing the job properly for its clients. This is a perfect opportunity to combine our resources."
