Compass Port LNG DWP – Enviro Statement

The U.S. Coast Guard and the Maritime Administration (MARAD) issued a Notice announcing availability of the draft environmental impact statement for the proposed Compass Port liquefied natural gas (LNG) deepwater port (DWP) to be located in the Gulf of Mexico approximately 11 miles south of Dauphin Island, Alabama. Public meetings will be held in Dauphin Island (July 12), Mobile, Alabama (July 13), and Pascagoula, Mississippi (July 14). Comments on the proposal should be submitted by July 26, 2004. 69 Fed.
