EMMF to Supply Fuel at Cyprus Ports

October 7, 2002

EXXONMOBIL Marine Fuels (EMMF) has expanded its range of products in Cyprus to include the supply of 180 cSt bunker fuel ex-truck at the strategic ports of Limassol and Larnaca. EMMF has traditionally supplied 60-80 cSt fuel at the ports of Limassol and Larnaca, together with low-sulphur, high quality MGO. Its decision to supply the 180 cSt product in Cyprus has been prompted by customer demand. Sowmi Krishnamurthy, general manager Europe, Africa and Middle East at EMMF, says, "We are always encouraged to see strong customer demand for quality, low-sulphur fuel products. The fuel will be straight run from the local refinery, and will be subject to the quality and quantity control procedures with which EMMF has become synonymous. In time, we expect that 180 cSt and MGO will be the stock grades at Larnaca and Limassol."
