New Technical Director at Khalifa Container Terminal

Manager and operator of the first semi-automated terminal in the Middle East, Khalifa Port Container Terminal, says it has appointed Mr. Mohamed Al Afeefi as Technical Director.

Mr. Al Afeefi, who has been working in the oil & gas, aviation and energy intensive industries for the past 15 years, will be a key member of the corporate management team, with overall responsibility for overseeing technical, facility and workshop activities at ADT’s Khalifa Port Container Terminal.

Bringing a wealth of industry experience to the terminal operator, Mr. Al Afeefi comes with a robust technical background as he led preventive maintenance programs and major technical projects within ADNOC's operations and played a senior role in developing leadership and national talent in Abu Dhabi's aviation arena including aircraft maintenance & aerospace manufacturing.

Mr. Al Afeefi holds a Bachelor degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado, USA and obtained various technical and competency development certifications.
