Lintec : Technical Support is a Must
September 15, 2003
In the event of off-spec fuel it is vital for fuel testing companies to
provide their customers with the proper levels of technical support. In the
latest issue of its Testing Times newsletter, Lintec says instant access to
a technical expert will mean clients get "a value-added damage prevention
service that goes beyond simply handing over the problem to the ship
operator."
Other features in Testing Times include Lintec's launch of Statistical
Quality Control (SQC), which acts as an early warning system by
double-checking the accuracy of the sample tests that are being processed.
Elsewhere in Testing Times, Lintec says that the increase in the number of
bunker alerts put out by testing companies is swamping bunker buyers with
irrelevant information because bunker alerts are being used as promotional
tools.
