EF Johnson Technologies $1m Task Order

EF Johnson Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:EFJI) announced that its 3e Technologies subsidiary has received a $1m task order against a contract from a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) customer. The company announced the $14.9m contract in January.

"The task order calls for us to deliver solutions to support the transmission of data, voice and video as part of a DoD maritime application," said Michael Jalbert, president and chief executive officer of EF Johnson Technologies, Inc. "Our rugged wireless devices with integrated DoD approved encryption and authentication techniques for wireless networking are helping to support U.S. forces throughout the world. This is the first of many orders we are expecting over the next few years that will outfit the military with our secure wireless networking solutions."
