Night Vision Technologies, Inc. (NVT) offers a comprehensive approach to night/day navigational and security video needs, addressing the offshore commercial industry. By designing systems that incorporate many complimentary technologies, NVT is able to meet the growing security and safety concerns for vessels, platforms, ports, and harbors worldwide. NVT offers hybrid infrared imaging, and thermal heat gathering technologies for detection of objects on water, platforms, or land. In addition, they add Gen III military light intensification (night vision), sensitive low light (low lux) CCTV, and high resolution color CCTV for critical identification. This merger of technologies allows for detection of objects by their infrared heat signatures, day or night. When thermal barriers such as high humidity, limit IR capability at night, the Gen III light intensifier produces day-like pictures with only starlight needed for illumination. When there is excess ambient light for the intensifier, the low lux camera gives clear images with little light needed for night navigation and security. This is particularly useful when shoreline, platform, or harbor lighting can give a blooming effect from light intensification devices. The color CCTV assists in daylight to dusk navigation and security. Offering up to three complimentary technologies in their rugged maritime pan and tilt housings, and up to two technologies in their forward looking fixed/tilt heads, NVT's products aide in collision avoidance, man-over, oil and chemical surface detection, and various security concerns of safety managers everywhere. These systems will integrate with most existing navigational monitors, or can be used with a dedicated display.
