The project is the building of the Pier 79 Ferry Terminal. Senesco Marine has been contracted to build three of the main passenger floats for the Pier 79 Terminal. When complete, the passenger floats will be 104 x 35 ft. The construction project is located on West 39th Street, extending 100 ft. into the Hudson River and surrounding the ventilation towers for the Lincoln Tunnel. This new ferry terminal will include six new ferry slips, a passenger waiting area, retail and restaurant space, administrative offices, outdoor recreation areas, and a bus/taxi drop off area. Trevcon Construction Company incorporated of New Jersey is the general contractor for the job and retained Senesco Marine for the float fabrication.
