Tracerco’s New China Office

June 24, 2009

Industrial technology specialist, Tracerco, part of the Johnson Matthey group, has increased its global presence by establishing a new service centre in Shanghai, China. The opening comes shortly after the company invested in new operations facilities in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Perth, Australia.

Despite the global economic downturn, China continues to achieve growth and positive GDP, adding still further capacity to its vast oil and gas, refining and petrochemical industries. The new office will make Tracerco’s full range of diagnostic and measurement technologies available to operators across China. Significant interest has already been established amongst lead process and maintenance engineers eager to access new tools to add to their task of increasing production rates and driving efficiency improvement.

This team consists of a core group of locally hired engineers who have been fully trained to the company’s high standards and are able to respond quickly to client requests. They will also provide a local aftersales service to the growing installed base of Tracerco’s instrument systems.
