Tognum Trainees Handed Their Diplomas

October 16, 2013

Altogether, 35 apprentices and 13 graduates of dual study courses were handed their diplomas at a graduation celebration tin Plant 2 of Tognum subsidiary MTU Friedrichshafen GmbH.

Steffen Besserer, head of personnel development, praised the achievements of the young job starters. "You can all be proud of having reached the very first milestone on your career path. The next challenge is to put the knowledge that you have acquired into practice in the years ahead." The chance to gain job experience is being offered by MTU, since all of the young people have been offered fixed contracts with the company.

Special accolades from the local Chamber of Commerce went to engineering draftswomen Anna Bohner and Lena Spindler and construction mechanic Daniel Straub for their outstanding achievements. Thomas Bittelmeyer, deputy chairman of the Works Council, also congratulated the new diploma holders and welcomed them to the company on behalf of the council.
