Transportation security grant bill introduced

Senator Shelby (R-AL) introduced the Public Transportation Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004 (S. 2284) to authorize the Secretary of Homeland Security to award grants to public transportation agencies to improve security, and for other purposes. The bill, which focuses heavily but on exclusively on public bus systems, was passed by the Senate upon introduction. (HK Law).
