Lloyd Triestino Makes Maiden Voyage Into U. S. Ports

Lloyd Triestino, the Italian container shipping line, will make its maiden
voyage into U. S. ports this week for its new weekly service between the Far East, the
Caribbean, and South Atlantic U.S. East Coast.
The first ship, the Ever Guide, will make its first call at Port Everglades
on May 15; Savannah, May 17, and Norfolk on May 19.
The joint service with Zim Israel Navigation (named AUX), is utilizing nine
fully cellular 2,700 TEU vessels. The service will cover ports in the
Peoples Republic of China, South Korea, Central America, the Caribbean and
U. S. South Atlantic ports.
