Triton Marine Wins $17.6m Deal

Triton Marine Construction Corporation*, Bremerton, Wash., is being awarded a $17,600,000 (base and two options) firm-fixed-price contract for design and construction of Wharf and Pier Improvements at the Navy Inactive Ship Maintenance Office at the Philadelphia Naval Business Center. The work to be performed provides for structural repairs and upgrades to Wharf N, Intrepid Avenue Wharf, Constitution Avenue Wharf, Pier 4, 16th Street Wharf, and Langley Ave Wharf. Work will be performed in Philadelphia, Pa., and is expected to be completed by November 2009. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured using Two-Phase Design-Build selection procedures via the Naval Facilities Engineering Command e-solicitation website with five Phase I and two Phase II proposals received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Mid-Atlantic, Public Works Department Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (N40085-08-C-2851).
