Ukraine Grain Exports Total 35.4 mln T in 207/18
Ukraine's grain exports have reached 35.4 million tonnes since the season began in July, down from 38.7 million tonnes at the same point last season, the agriculture ministry said on Wednesday.
So far in the 2017/18 season, which runs from July to June, Ukraine has exported 15.7 million tonnes of wheat, 15.3 million tonnes of maize and 4.19 million tonnes of barley, the ministry said in a statement.
Ukraine said it harvested 61.3 million tonnes of grain in calendar year 2017, down from a record 66 million tonnes in 2016.
The ministry has said Ukraine may export 41 million tonnes of grain this season.
