Wuhan University Students to Train on Transas Simulator

Transas has been awarded a contract to supply and install the Navi-Trainer Professional 4000 at the Wuhan University of Technology, China. The contract was obtained by Transas China, the official Transas representative in the region.
The scope of supply will include one main bridge with full ship control and seven channels of visualization, and three secondary bridges with reduced ship control and three visualization channels for each one. All the bridges will be provided with Conning, ECDIS, Radar, GMDSS, and NavAids workstations. Transas will also equip the Briefing/Debriefing room with six desktop Navi-Trainer Expert navigation simulators.
The commissioning of the simulation equipment is scheduled for early September 2003.
