Pedro Sinogas, TEKEVER CEO, said, “With an extra payload capacity and the integration of a maritime radar, the goal of the company is to provide customers with unprecedented capabilities in a very small and affordable package.”
According to the developer, the new UAV is suited for a number of missions, including wide area autonomous surveillance of large maritime and land areas, with onboard multi-sensor pattern detection, as well as multi-mission support, including border protection, fire surveillance, communications support, and environmental, infrastructure and pipeline monitoring. Other applications include near shore and maritime missions such as support for wide area oil spill detection missions, multi-sensor fusion and specialized support to Search and Rescue operations, antipiracy and traffic control missions, and support to fisheries inspection using high precision sensors.
