Applied Membranes, Inc. (AMI), an ISO 9001:2008 manufacturer of reverse osmosis systems, membranes and equipment, announced the launch of its new watermarkers product line for the commercial and recreational maritime sector.

AMI said it has been building desalination systems as well as manufacturing membranes for over 30 years. “Our Maritime systems were engineered to be fully automated, high quality-low cost, compact solutions for the recreational and professional maritime communities,” said Dr. Gil Dhawan, company President and Founder.

AMI said it offers:
-Systems built without proprietary components. Everything uses off the shelf components readily available from a variety of sources.
-Robust, durable systems with a long and proven field service life.
-Degreed professional engineering support on staff with all major fields represented: chemical, mechanical, electrical and civil. There are no challenges a customer will face that AMI hasn’t already dealt with.
-AMI has been building desalination systems and manufacturing membranes in the US for over 30 years. They engineer solutions from 12gallons per day, to multi-million gallon per day systems. The AMI founder actually taught leading competitors how to build a watermaker decades ago.

Applied Membranes stocks a substantial inventory of watermaker parts, consumables and accessories. From yacht-sized media filters, to UV sterilizers, to cleaning, storage and mineralization cartridge filters, they have everything you could ever need in a watermaker supplier.

AMI lists as its customers the U.S. Military, Chevron, Coca Cola and thousands of installations worldwide, which the company said provides a depth of knowledge and expertise.
