Wynn Wipers on Gas Power

Valderhaug) Wynn Marine has been selected to supply the window wiper systems for the world’s only gas powered cargo vessels –Viking Energy owned by Eidsvik and Stril Pioneer from Simon Mokster Shipping. Both platform supply vessels (PSVs) were built by Kleven Verft in Ulsteinvink, Norway. They are equipped with bespoke wiper systems utilizing the Type D Straight line wiper, which is part of Wynn’s Ocean Range of wipers – targeted specifically for heavy design usage.Wiper control comes from Wynn’s Series 3000 Network Control System. Its modular design makes it a well-suited product for all bridge sizes and shape. Additional wipers can be added at any time without complicated design changes.
