Zabrocky to Headline WISTA

Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association (WISTA) USA announced that Lois K. Zabrocky of Overseas Shipholding Group, Inc. (OSG) will be the keynote speaker at its 2nd Annual Luncheon in Stamford, CT. The luncheon is being held in conjunction with this year’s Connecticut Maritime Association (CMA) Shipping 2007 Conference. The luncheon will be held on Monday, March 19 at the Westin Stamford Hotel.

Lois K. Zabrocky was appointed head of OSG’s International Product Carrier Strategic Business Unit in September 2005. In this role she oversees the company’s international product carrier business which includes Panamax and Handysize tankers that transport petroleum products. She has over 13 years management experience most recently as Vice President responsible for commercial operations of Aframax International, a pool of 35 Aframax crude oil tankers.

In previous positions Ms. Zabrocky was responsible for spot chartering the Aframax International fleet in the Mediterranean, the Caribbean and the North Sea. In 1998, she was instrumental in the sale of OSG’s dry cargo fleet and in 1995 set up OSG’s Singapore chartering operation. She joined OSG in 1992. Ms. Zabrocky holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Merchant Marine Academy at King’s Point and holds a Third Mate’s license.
