Symphony of the Seas, the world’s largest cruise ship will set sail from Barcelona

Watch a hyperlapse tour as workers put the finishing touches on the world’s largest cruise ship. The ship will be handed over on March 23, with the inaugural cruise from Barcelona, Spain on April 7.

The inaugural cruise on Royal Caribbean’s Symphony of the Seas is sold-out, but guests will be able to enjoy new dining options, a 10-deck tall slide, laser tag, a zip line, and Broadway musicals.  She will spend her inaugural summer 2018 season exploring the Mediterranean, before being heading to the Caribbean.

Symphony of the Seas is now the world’s largest 228,081 GRT cruise liner is 1,188 feet long and 215.5 feet wide, with total capacity for 6,680 guests plus 2,200 crew.
