APK-Inform reduces Ukraine grain harvest forecast for 2026
Ukrainian 'APK-Inform' agriculture consultancy announced a?revision down of Ukraine’s 58.2 metric ton?grain harvest forecast for 2026. This is compared to the previous outlook 58.6 metric ton?and to 61.1 million tones harvested in 2025.
The consulting firm slightly reduced the forecast for corn and wheat harvest and noted that the crop could include 19.9 millions tons of barley, 31.5million tons of corn, and 19 million tons wheat.
The grain export outlook for Ukraine's current July-June 2025/26 season was also reduced to 38.2 millions tons, down from 40.2 million due to a sharp drop in the wheat export forecast to 14.5 million tons. (Reporting and editing by Himani Sarkar; Reporting by Pavel Polityuk)
