Bloomberg News reports that Thoma Bravo is close to a deal with WWEX for a $12 billion shipping technology firm.

Bloomberg News reported that U.S. private equity firm Thoma Bravo is in advanced talks to purchase third-party logistics provider WWEX Group. This would create a shipping tech business worth up to $12 billion.

The report said that the buyout could be announced as early as Tuesday and would value WWEX at $5 billion.

Bloomberg reports that Thoma Bravo, a software-focused company, plans to include e-commerce shipping solutions Auctane and WWEX in its portfolio.
