Mark Carney, Canadian Prime Minister, said that Albania, Belgium Greece, Latvia, Luxembourg Romania, Turkey, and Ukraine had committed to a global defence bank in Canada.

Canada's telecom regulator has launched an investigation into Bell Canada, Rogers Communications and Telus Communications. The probe was launched because of concerns that newly introduced customer charges could violate the ban on activation fees and plan modification fees.
