Data shows that a tanker is on its way to South Korea, Hyundai Oilbank.
Shipping data revealed that an oil 'tanker' is headed to South Korean refiner Hyundai Oilbank in order to discharge its cargo after passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
The Malta flagged Odessa passed the strait in April 13 Kpler data showed, but did no indicate where the tanker loaded the oil.
LSEG data revealed that the Suezmax 'tanker', which is capable of carrying 1 million barrels, had its AIS tracker switched off. It reappeared near Fujairah Port in the United Arab Emirates on April 17.
Hyundai Oilbank's spokesperson confirmed that the tanker was heading towards its refinery, but refused to say what the tanker contained. When asked if the vessel had 'passed through the strait, he referred to?shipping data.
