Interfax reports that oil production at the giant Tengiz Field in Kazakhstan has gradually increased after an outage.
The Tengizchevroil group, which operates the giant Tengiz oil field, reported to Interfax on Tuesday that the oil?production is gradually increasing after a'suspension' in January.
Tengiz - which accounts for 40% of Kazakhstan's total oil production - was closed a large part of the month last after fires broke?out at its power plants?on January 18th. Kazakhstan is investigating these incidents.
Two industry sources reported that Tengiz had been seized on February 9.
