Iran's official media agency reports that Iran and the US have signed a MoU to end their fighting and blockade in the Gulf region.

According to a 'MoU' published by Iran’s official IRNA News Agency on Wednesday, both countries will end their fighting on all fronts. They also agreed to stop naval blockades in the region.

Iran's official news agency released details about the?deal that will be signed on Friday. This was shortly after a U.S. official released a copy of the text.

IRNA published details of the agreement, including the U.S.'s commitment to grant Iran access its frozen funds and end the blockade against its ships and ports. Iran committed to facilitating the return of maritime traffic in the Gulf and Gulf of Oman back to prewar levels as well as not producing or acquiring nuclear weapons.
