Jordan purchases 50,000 tons of feed Barley at tender, traders claim

European traders reported that Jordan's state grain buyer bought?about 50,000 tons of?? animal feed??? barley? on Wednesday? in an international tender looking for up to 120,000 tonnes.

According to traders, the barley was reportedly purchased from Bunge Trading House at an estimated cost and freight (c&f), of $260.50 per ton. The barley will be shipped in the second half of June.

The tender was also attended by two other companies, CHS and Cargill. Their estimated bids per ton were $265.98 for CHS and $264.95 for Cargill.

The reports reflect the assessments of traders and future estimates of volumes and prices are still possible.
