Jordanian traders report that the country has issued a tender for up to 120,000 tonnes of wheat.
European traders reported on Wednesday that Jordan's state grain purchaser has issued a tender for up to 120,000 tons of milling Wheat sourced from optional sources.
Price offers must be submitted by August 5th.
Traders had expected a new announcement after Jordan failed to purchase 120,000 tons wheat in its previous tender on Tuesday.
The tender sought a number of combinations of consignments between 50,000 and 60,000 tons to be shipped from September 16-30, 1-15 October, 16-31 October, 1-15 November, the same dates as Tuesday's bid.
Jordan also released a separate tender for 120,000 tons animal feed barley that closes on August 6. Michael Hogan (Reporting) Edited by David Goodman
