Maersk, a container shipping company, announced on Friday that it temporarily suspended vessel calls to Israel's Haifa Port due to regional tensions.

The Danish company stated that it had not experienced any other disruptions in its planned operations in the area.

Iran has been bombarded from the skies since last Friday, in an effort it claims to be making to stop Tehran from developing nuclear arms. Iran denies plans to create such weapons, and in response has launched counter-strikes against Israel.
