Navy: Iran blocks entry of U.S. Warships in Strait of Hormuz

According to Iranian state television, the?navy prevented enemy warships from entering the Strait of Hormuz on Monday by sending a'swift warning'.

U.S. president Donald Trump announced?on Sunday that the U.S. will begin a?effort on Monday morning to free ships stranded?in the strait, as a 'humanitarian gesture'?to help neutral?countries?in the U.S. - Israeli?war against Iran.

Semi-official Fars News Agency reported that a U.S. Warship was hit by two missiles as it sailed near the port of Jask, at the southern entry?to the Strait. The ship then 'turned back from its attempt to cross the strait.

On Monday, Iran's armed forces issued a series of warnings to foreign navies to not?cross the Strait of Hormuz. Otherwise, they would face a 'decisive response.
