Posted to Maritime Reporter on April 10, 2026

According to ship tracking data, the majority of ships that sailed through the Strait of Hormuz?in?the?past?day were connected to Iran. Other vessels are putting off making voyages despite a?two week ceasefire reached this week by?Tehran? and Washington?, data and shipping sources say.

Based on separate data analyses from Kpler and Lloyd's List Intelligence, three tankers have left Iranian waters in the last 24 hours.

The data also showed that four dry bulk vessels - including one that loaded iron ore bound for China from Iran - had also sailed in the past day. Jonathan Saul reported. (Editing by Jane Merriman.)
